Under the name of Turning Leaf School of Garden Design, Turning Leaf Garden Designs, established in 2003 brings you a selection of short courses offering classroom based learning. Subject areas covered include surveying, drawing and graphic skills, spatial planning and arrangement, design, plant knowledge, selection of hard and soft landscape materials, and planting design.

Unlike distance learning by correspondence or on-line courses, our classes are fun, stimulating and sociable and delivered at an easy-to-reach local venue, nationally acclaimed gardens at Barnards Farm Estate, West Horndon, Essex.

We are the only educational facility in this part of Essex offering short courses in Garden Design and Planting Design, and with both morning and afternoon sessions on each day of the courses, they offer excellent value for money, while the times and dates of the classes make them ideal for parents of school age children.
